Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Rainier Fractional Consulting ("Rainier," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of rainierconsult.com and any pages, content, tools, and forms hosted on it (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read these Terms, that you agree to be bound by them, and that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms cover your use of the Site only. They do not govern any paid engagement between you and Rainier. Any advisory or fractional CFO services we provide are governed by a separate written engagement agreement, and that engagement agreement controls if anything in it conflicts with these Terms.

Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and business purposes, such as learning about our services, reading our insights, using our tools, and contacting us. You agree not to:

• Misuse the Site.Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our servers, or connected systems, and do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site.
• Disrupt or overload.Do not interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Site or its infrastructure, including through bots, scrapers, or automated tools used without our written permission.
• Submit false or harmful information.Do not submit information that is false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share, and do not upload anything that contains malware or other harmful code.
• Violate the law or others' rights.Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of Rainier or any third party.

When you submit a form on the Site, such as a consultation request or a newsletter signup, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it. We handle the information you submit as described in our Privacy Policy →

Intellectual Property

The Site and everything on it, including text, copy, graphics, the Rainier name and logo, page design, layout, and the selection and arrangement of content, is owned by Rainier or its licensors and is protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. The Rainier name and logo are ours. Please do not use them without our prior written permission.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use the Site for your own internal business or personal reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, frame, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written consent, except that you may print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own non-commercial reference. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Rainier.

No Financial or Professional Advice

The content on this Site is provided for general information only. It is not financial, accounting, tax, investment, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for an engaged advisory relationship with Rainier or with your own qualified professionals. Reading the Site, using a calculator or scorecard, or contacting us does not create a CFO, advisory, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and Rainier.

Tools on the Site, such as the CFO Readiness Scorecard and any cost or savings calculators, produce illustrative estimates based on the inputs you provide and on general assumptions. They are meant to start a conversation, not to be relied on as a precise figure for any decision. Before you act on anything you read or calculate here, talk to a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. We only provide tailored advice through a signed engagement agreement, and that engagement, not this Site, governs the advice we give you.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rainier disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. The Site may link to or reference third-party websites and resources that we do not control. We provide those links for convenience only. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rainier and its owners, members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the extent any liability cannot be disclaimed, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
